ISRAEL FIRES INTO SYRIA
Reuters) - Israel said it fired into Syria on Sunday and destroyed a machinegun position in the Golan Heights from where shots had been fired at Israeli soldiers in a further spillover of the Syrian civil war along a tense front.
It was not immediately clear whether Israel held Syrian troops or rebels responsible for what a spokesman for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said had been a deliberate attack on Israeli patrols in the occupied territory.
Israeli forces "destroyed a Syrian machine gun nest that fired twice in the last 24 hours on Israeli patrols operating to safeguard the border," the spokesman, Ofir Gendelman, said on his Twitter page.
Shells have fallen several times inside Israeli-controlled territory during Syria's civil war. Some of the incidents have drawn Israeli return fire.
Syria's southern provinces bordering Jordan and Israel have become an increasingly significant battleground as the capital Damascus - in Syria's south - comes into play and President Bashar al-Assad's forces fight hard to prevent rebel advances.
The Israeli military said one of its vehicles was hit late on Saturday by shooting from across the Israeli-Syrian ceasefire line on the Golan Heights, but no one was hurt.
Israeli military spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Peter Lerner, said, "Our understanding is that it wasn't stray fire."
After a second incident on Sunday, Israeli soldiers "responded with accurate fire toward the Syrian post from which they were fired on", the military said.
Defence Minister Moshe Yaalon said in a statement that Israel viewed shooting from Syria "with severity" and would not allow "the Syrian army or any other element to violate Israeli sovereignty by firing at our territory".
Israel captured the Golan Heights from Syria in the 1967 Middle East war and annexed the strategic plateau in 1981 in a move that has not won international recognition.
"Any ... fire from the Syrian side will be answered immediately by silencing the sources of fire when we identify them," Yaalon said.
Amos Gilad, a senior Israeli Defence Ministry official, said battles between Syrian government forces and Syrian rebels sometimes take place just a short distance from Israeli lines.
"At times, shells or bullets are fired at Israel. Usually the shooting (from Syria) is not deliberate, but it doesn't matter," he told Army Radio.
"Israel should not be the target of any attack, whether intentional or unintentional - because after all, if you accept something that was unintentional, that could lead to something intentional in the end," Gilad said.
Israel has said for months that it expects Assad's government to fall and has voiced concern that its chemical weapons could fall into the hands of Lebanon's Hezbollah guerrillas and al Qaeda.
Israeli President Shimon Peres has called for Assad to step down.

SINK HOLE
I know this is old news, but I could not quit thinking about it, so I'm writing about it.
On Thursday night, February 28, Jeff Bush went to bed.
Normally, when we have locked the doors, snuggled under the covers, and dozed off into la-la land, we feel about as safe as it is possible to feel here on planet earth.
Five other people were in the house that night. Suddenly, they heard screams coming from Jeff's bedroom.
They were all shocked and had no idea what was going on.
Jeff did not know what was going on either.
In a moment of time, he, his bed, and his entire bedroom were 60 feet down in a huge dark hole, a cenote!
Unbeknown to anyone, beneath the house, directly under Jeff's bedroom, was porous geological bedrock.
We cannot even begin to imagine what he was thinking. It must have seemed like the wildest nightmare of his life.
But it was not a nightmare!
It was real.
Within a few short minutes the sides of the huge hole began to cave in upon Jeff Bush.
And shortly after that he was dead.
But this was not the first time something like this took place:
Numbers 16:32 "The earth opened its mouth and swallowed the men."
The family was in shock. His brother heard his screams and he attempted to rescue him, but it was an impossible task.
"Lighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death" (Psalm 13:3).
None of us go to bed expecting to wake up in either heaven or hell!
I'm sure this was the furthest thing from Jeff's mind that fateful night. He was young, in good health, and only 37-years-old.
But are any of us guaranteed tomorrow?
No, we are not! But we are guaranteed to live forever . . . somewhere!
The important thing is that each of us is ready to step out into eternity. The most important question we can answer here on earth is: "Where will you spend forever?"
They did recover a family Bible in the house.
I hope that Jeff Bush read it and had accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.
But merely having a Bible in your house does not guarantee that you will go to heaven when you die.
Tonight, before you go to bed make sure that your heart is right with God.
In the strange days in which we are living . . . one never knows what is just around the corner.
"Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber or sleep" (Ps. 121:4).

We all know that the media is "owned" by the liberals, but we did not know that broadcasters are also living in fear of mentioning the wrong thing on national television.
These poor people! Their Islamic religion does not make them happy. Isn't it amazing how angry they all look? This man murdered his own daughter.
Genesis 16:12 "This son of yours will be a wild ass of a man. He will raise his fist against everyone, and everyone will be against him. Yes, he will live in open hostility against all his relatives."
God's Word is so specifically accurate!
In the "olden days" if someone was murdered it was not politically incorrect for the news media to mention it. Back in my day the newscasters helped the police by giving a description of the felon, and showing his picture on the nightly news.
Now there are living among us a certain group of people who do not have to keep our laws, but we are required to keep theirs.
How's that for "justice"?
Recently, here in the state of Indiana, (and this is supposed to be cow-town where nothing interesting ever happens) a man was murdered. The Muslims called it an "HONOR KILLING".
Since when is any killing in the United States an "honor"?
Why was it an honor killing?
The Muslim victim was interested in accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, and his peers found him reading gospel literature.
So they murdered him.
Yes, this is bad.
Do you know what is worse?
The news media has not mentioned one word about it. And this happened three weeks ago!
And the churches?
The Coward Christians will continue to hide in their expensive buildings, sucking their thumbs in the pew, pretending to care about the world. Believe me, they will never mention it either. Many of them want to be known as "loving everyone", which is a cop-out for their non-involvement.
Yes, some of them are bigger sissies than the media moguls.
If no one ever stands up, speaks up, or shouts out, pretty soon we will all find ourselves under Sharia Law.
If you think this is bad now, wait until these "Peaceful Muslims" are in the majority.
Is there no one out there who cares about our children and grandchildren? A person has to be totally blind not to see what is coming down the pike in the near future.
We are like the proverbial bird who has his head buried in the sand as the tide comes in.
There is an answer to this madness. But in our money-making, money-grabbing culture, there are few who want to know the solution to this stark reality. And fewer still who have the courage to act.
"Oh, no, Wes, this is not true!"
Then I dare you . . . I dare you . . . go to Saudi Arabia (or any other Muslim country) and attempt to start a church or even have a Bible study in your home.
Or . . . go to a Muslim neighborhood nearby and start witnessing for Jesus. The "Peaceful Muslims" will rip you apart right in the city street.

THOSE PEACEFUL MUSLIMS AT IT AGAIN
It's not bad enough that this Muslim Arab murdered someone . . . then he decided to take his knife out, cut him open, and eat his heart and liver . . . RAW!
These are the kind of savages we are dealing with. And now many of them hold jobs in the White House.
THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN LESS THAN A WEEK AGO IN NIGERIA AFTER THE "PEACEFUL MUSLIMS" TOOK OVER A VILLAGE AND SLAUGHTERED EVERY CHRISTIAN THEY COULD FIND. IN THIS INCIDENT THEY DID NOT TORTURE THEM. THEY MERELY BURNED THEM TO DEATH.

These are the days when God's people should be praying. Why do Christians refuse to pray? If you want to empty a church quickly, just call an old-fashioned prayer meeting where people actually get down on their knees and call on God. I'm not talking about a "fake shallow prayer meeting" where a few songs are sung, prayer requests are taken, and then maybe three minutes is finally taken for actual prayer. We've had "Christians" come to our prayer meeting and when we began to kneel and call on God, they didn't have a clue. They did not even know what to do! One man asked me point blank, "What do we do now?" Yes, here in America!! We are living in very, very strange days. And we sure need to pray for our nation. We pray here locally in Warsaw, Indiana every Sunday evening at The Hampton Inn for our country (6:00 p.m.). Many of the "Fundy Christians" ridicule us for kneeling and calling on God to save our nation, while they run around trying to look good doing "busy work", sitting in the pews sucking their thumbs, and for the most part accomplising nothing for eternity. But we still believe that prayer is probably one of the most powerful things we can do for our nation. I hope you and all other true believers start up a prayer meeting in your community, too.
