The "lost city" of Petra re-emerged August 22, 1812 when wealthy Swiss explorer Johann Burckhardt, disguised himself as an Arab, entered the area and came upon The Red-Rose City.  Although not mentioned by name in the Bible, Edom, Mount Seir, Sela, Mount Hor, and Bozrah are located in the same general area (Jordan).  The entire Petra complex, including the Ciq, is roughly twenty square miles in size.  This is 12,800 acres!  It is aptly referred to as "The Wonder of the Desert" and "The Red-Rose City".  Zechariah 13 tells us that "two-thirds" of the people will be cut off and die".  Israel's present population is about 7 million people.  If two-thirds die, then there will be a little more than 2 million Jewish people left alive.  Question:  "Could Petra hold 2 million people?"  Answer:  Can 12,800 acres hold 2 million people?  Yes!  Do the math.

"Two-thirds of the people in the land will be cut off and die . . . but one-third will be left in the land" (Zech. 13:8).

I am presently teaching a class  on the book of Genesis.  We are studying sentence by sentence through the entire book.  We came across the first mention of "RED" in Genesis 25.  Esau's nickname became Edom (Ge. 25:25 and30), which means "RED".  We became very interested in this because we believe very strongly in the principle of "first mention".  So I began to do some serious study on the subject.  This is the very area (now modern Jordan) where the "Edomites" settled.

                          And . . . it is one of the seven modern wonders of the world.
                                  Interesting that God would choose this place.
                         Because when the O.T. was written Petra did not exist!
                       The last book in the Old Testament (Malachi) was written in 430 B.C.
                                        But Bozrah, Edom, and Seir, are mentioned.   
            These places are located in the modern nation of Jordan, and very near Petra.
Although the word "Petra" is not in the Bible, there is a subtle reference to it in Mt. 16:18 where Jesus says, "upon this rock I will build my church".  In Greek Peter is "petros".
      
This is what I came up with:

             Red, Scarlet, Crimson, and Carmine

 

Red:  Hebrew, “ad.mo.ne” It is the color of blood, rubies, and strawberries.  It is next to orange at the end of the visible spectrum of light.  Red is commonly associated with fire, beauty, blood, anger, danger, sacrifice, and passion.  In China red means happiness.  Red is mentioned 53 times in the Bible.

Scarlet: Closely associated with red is scarlet.  "Sha.ne" in Hebrew, it is mentioned 52 times in the Bible. Red in ancient Middle East comes from the insect “coccus ilicus”, the dried body of the female yielding coloring matter from which is made the dye used for cloth to color it scarlet or crimson.

 Crimson: "kar.mele" in Hebrew means red or carmine.  It is mentioned five times in four verses of the Bible (2 Chron. 2:7 and 14; 2 Chron. 3:14; Jer. 4:30, and, the most familiar, Isaiah 1:18: “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Carmine: not in the Bible.  It is also called “Crimson lake”, “cochineal” and “natural Red4”.

Ge. 25:25: “The first one was very red at birth and covered with thick hair like a fur coat. So they named him Esau. “

Ge. 25:30: “Esau said to Jacob, ‘I’m starved! Give me some of that red stew!’ (This is how Esau got his other name, Edom, which means “red.”)”

Ge. 38:28:  “While she (Tamar) was in labor, one of the babies reached out his hand. The midwife grabbed it and tied a scarlet string around the child’s wrist, announcing, “This one came out first.”—Perez (“breach”) and Zerah (“rising”).

Ex. 10:19: “The Lord responded by shifting the wind, and the strong west wind blew the locusts into the Red Sea.  Not a single locust remained in all the land of Egypt.”

Ex. 25:1-4:  “The Lord said to Moses, ² “Tell the people of Israel to bring me their sacred offerings. Accept the contributions from all whose hearts are moved to offer them. ³ Here is a list of sacred offerings you may accept from them:

gold, silver, and bronze;
⁴ blue, purple, and scarlet thread;
fine linen and goat hair for cloth;

Numbers 19:2  “Here is another legal requirement commanded by the Lord: Tell the people of Israel to bring you a red heifer, a perfect animal that has no defects and has never been yoked to a plow.”

1 Kings 3:22:  “But when they got up the next morning, the sun was shining across the water, making it appear red to the Moabites—like blood.

Psalm 75:8:  “For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.”

Proverbs 23:31: “Don’t gaze at the wine, seeing how red it is,
    how it sparkles in the cup, how smoothly it goes down.”

Isaiah 1:18  ““Come now, let’s settle this,”
    says the Lord.
Though your sins are like scarlet,
    I will make them as white as snow.
Though they are red like crimson,
    I will make them as white as wool.”

Is. 63:2: “Why are your clothes so red,
    as if you have been treading out grapes?”

Ezekiel 23:14  “ “Then she carried her prostitution even further. She fell in love with pictures that were painted on a wall—pictures of Babylonian^[a] military officers, outfitted in striking red uniforms.”

    the garden of God.

    red carnelian, pale-green peridot, white moonstone,
    blue-green beryl, onyx, green jasper,

Joel 2:31  “The sun will become dark,
    and the moon will turn blood red
    before that great and terrible^[a] day of the Lord arrives.”

Daniel 5:29  “Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.”

Nahum 2:3:  “Shields flash red in the sunlight!
    See the scarlet uniforms of the valiant troops!”
Watch as their glittering chariots move into position,
    with a forest of spears waving above them.”

Zechariah 1:8:  “In a vision during the night, I saw a man sitting on a red horse that was standing among some myrtle trees in a small valley. Behind him were riders on red, brown, and white horses.”

Matthew 27:28  “And they stripped him (Jesus), and put on him a scarlet robe.”

Acts 2:20  “The sun will become dark,
    and the moon will turn blood red
    before that great and glorious day of the Lord arrives.”

Hebrews 9:19  “For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, . . .”

Revelation 6:4  “Then another horse appeared, a red one. Its rider was given a mighty sword and the authority to take peace from the earth. And there was war and slaughter everywhere.”

Revelation 6:12  “ I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as blood.”

Revelation 9:17  “And in my vision, I saw the horses and the riders sitting on them. The riders wore armor that was fiery red and dark blue and yellow. The horses had heads like lions, and fire and smoke and burning sulfur billowed from their mouths.”

Revelation 12:3  “Then I witnessed in heaven another significant event. I saw a large red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, with seven crowns on his heads.”

Revelation 17:3-4 “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman (the imitator) sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.  And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:”

 

Revelation 19:11-16  “Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. ¹² His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. ¹³ He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. ¹⁴ The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses. ¹⁵ From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. ¹⁶ On his robe at his thigh^[a] was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.”

You may never have heard of Petra!  But it is one of the seven wonders of the modern world, located in the country of Jordan.  My Jewish friend in Jerusalem has been there more than 1,000 times.  Yes, this is not a typo.  He has been there more than 1,000 times.  Petra is also called "The Red Rose City", because it is carved from a red-colored rock cliff.
Near Petra is a city mentioned in the Bible: Bozrah.
Why do I mention this?
Revelation 14:20 predicts that blood (red) will flow in a stream for 180 miles and as high as a horse's bridle.  How could this happen?
The Bible also tells us that "overflowing rain", "hail", and mud will be mixed with the blood (red).

So I got out my map of the Middle East one day and did some measuring.

The hair on my arm stood up when I realized that from Haifa, Israel to Bozrah, Jordan is about 180 miles!  Part of this valley is Megiddo.  It is also called the Jezreel Valley.

Talk about the ACCURACY of the Bible!

I challenge you to look up every reference to Bozrah and see what the Holy Spirit reveals to you.  Bozrah means "sheep pen" in Hebrew.  Ge. 36:33; 1 Chron. 1:44; Is. 34:6 and 63:1; Jer. 48:24 and 49:13,22; Amos 1:12; and Micah 2:12.

The fennec fox or fennec (Vulpes zerda) is a small nocturnal fox found in the Sahara of North Africa . Its most distinctive feature is its unusually large ears, which serve to dissipate heat. Its name comes from the Arabic  word فنك (fanak), which means fox, and the species name zerda comes from the Greek  word xeros which means dry, referring to the fox's habitat. The fennec is the smallest species of canid  in the world. Its coat, ears, and kidney functions have adapted to high-temperature, low-water, desert environments. In addition, its hearing is sensitive enough to hear prey  moving underground. It mainly eats insects, small mammals, and birds.  In captivity it can live to about 14 years.

How amazing is our God!  His beauty is beyond our imagination!

The O-man, Barack Hussein Obama, is an eloquently tailored empty suit. No resume, no accomplishments, no experience, no original ideas, no understanding of how the economy works, no understanding of how the world works, no balls, nothing but abstract, empty rhetoric devoid of real substance.

 

He has no real identity. He is half-white, which he rejects. The rest of him is mostly Arab, which he hides, but is disclosed by his non-African Arabic surname and his Arabic first and middle names as a way to triply proclaim his Arabic parentage to people in Kenya . Only a small part of him is African Black from his Luo grandmother, which he pretends he is exclusively.

 

What he isn't, not a genetic drop of, is 'African-American,' the descendant of enslaved Africans brought to America chained in slave ships. He hasn't a single ancestor who was a slave. Instead, his Arab ancestors were slave owners. Slave-trading was the main Arab business in East Africa for centuries until the British ended it.

 

Let that sink in: Obama is not the descendant of slaves, he is the descendant of slave owners. Thus he makes the perfect Liberal Messiah.

 

It's something Hillary doesn't understand - how some complete neophyte came out of the blue and stole the Dem nomination from her. Obamamania is beyond politics and reason. It is a true religious cult, whose adherents reject Christianity yet still believe in Original Sin, transferring it from the evil of being human to the evil of being white.

 

Thus Obama has become the white liberals' Christ, offering absolution from the Sin of Being White. There is no reason or logic behind it, no faults or flaws of his can diminish it, no arguments Hillary could make of any kind can be effective against it. The absurdity of Hypocrisy Clothed In Human Flesh being their Savior is all the more cause for liberals to worship him: Credo quia absurdum, I believe it because it is absurd.

 

Thank heavens that the voting majority of Americans remain Christian and are in no desperate need of a phony savior.

He is ridiculous and should not be taken seriously by any thinking American.

Affordable Boat Act

 

The government has just passed a new law called: "The affordable boat act" declaring that every citizen MUST purchase a new boat, by April 2014. These "affordable" boats will cost an average of $24,000-$124,000 each. This does not include taxes, trailers, towing fees, insurance, fuel, docking and storage fees, maintenance or repair costs. 

 

This law has been passed, because until now, typically only financially responsible and working people have been able to purchase boats. This new laws ensures that every American can now have a "affordable" boat of their own, because everyone is "entitled" to a boat.  

 

In order to make sure everyone purchases an affordable boat, the costs of owning a boat will increase on average of 250-400% per year. This way, working taxpayers will pay more for something that other people don't want or can't afford to maintain. But to be fair, people who can't afford to maintain their boat will be regularly fined and children (under the age of 26) can use their parents boats to party on until they turn 27; then must purchase their own boat. 

 

If you already have a boat, you can keep yours (just kidding; no you can't). If you don't want or don't need a boat, you are required to buy one anyhow. If you refuse to buy one, you will be fined until you purchase one or face imprisonment.  For those that cannot afford one, they will get a free boat with a monthly check for all ownership costs listed above at taxpayer expense.

 

Failure to use the boat will also result in fines. People living in the desert, inner cities or areas with no access to lakes are not exempt. Age, motion sickness, experience, knowledge nor lack of desire are acceptable excuses for not using your boat. 

 

A government review board will decide everything, including; when, where, how often and for what purposes you can use your boat along with how many people can ride your boat and determine if one is too old or healthy enough to be able to use their boat. They will also decide if your boat has out lived its usefulness or if you must purchase specific accessories, or a newer and more expensive boat. (Cash for Clunkers guidelines will be used).

 

Government officials are exempt from this new law. If they want a boat, they and their families can obtain boats free, at the expense of tax payers. Unions, special interest and major donors are also exempt. 

 

If the government can force Americans to buy health care, they can force you to buy a boat....or ANYTHING else..

Netanyahu prophetically correct at UN

It is yet to be seen whether or not Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the UN gained any diplomatic or political ground for Israel. The message, however, was certainly ground-breaking. On the floor of the United Nations General Assembly, in front of the nations of the world, Netanyahu quoted from the Bible no fewer than five times. Surely more than any other speech in UN history.

Calling up the fathers of faith, Israel’s Prime Minister pronounced to all that it is not the United Nations, nor the United States, nor a slipshod “two-state solution” that will establish the Jewish people in their ancestral homeland, but only the promises of the God of Israel as spoken in His word to their forefathers.
For Israel’s Prime Minister, it seems, God’s word is as politically correct and relevant today as ever.

“The Persian king Cyrus issued a famous edict in which he proclaimed the right of the Jews to return to the land of Israel and rebuild the Jewish temple in Jerusalem.”
In this brilliant admonition of Iran’s anti-Israel madness, Netanyahu pointed out that it was the Persian King Cyrus himself who supported the return of the Jewish people to Israel. How shrewd of the Prime Minister to remind the Iranian people that they themselves were instruments in God’s hands to fulfill His plan to establish the Jewish people in the Land of Israel. What a stunning rebuke of a regime that regularly threatens to destroy the Jewish state.
Like the prophets of old, Netanyahu directly confronted that ancient enemy of Israel calling upon them to abandon the path of fighting against God’s will concerning the Jewish people. Fighting against the purposes of God will only backfire in the end. For “presidents of Iran have come and gone,” said Netanyahu, “and (yet) we re-established our sovereign state in our ancestral homeland, the land of Israel.”

Apparently, Israel’s Jewish Prime Minister also reads the New Testament. This quote taken directly from the Gospel of Matthew suggests that the true nature of Israel’s foes will be revealed by their actions, as seen in the following verse in Jesus’ sermon: “By their fruits shall ye know them.”
After systematically recalling a long list of the new Iranian president Rouhani’s murders, killings and terror over the years, Netanyahu exposed the “brazen contrast, this extraordinary contradiction, between Rouhani’s words and Iran’s actions.”
One could almost picture Jesus himself over-turning the tables in the Temple as Netanyahu tried to shake the world’s leaders out of their apathy and wake them up to the imminent dangers of Iran’s deceitfulness. Abandoning all politically correct diplomacy, he stunned the weary diplomats in the General Assembly, exposing lie after lie of Iran’s deceptive “charm offensive” and denouncing it as a “rogue regime.”
“Israel will stand alone”
Asher Intrater, a Messianic Jewish leader in Israel, pointed out that when Netanyahu declared in his speech that if necessary Israel would stand alone to defend herself against the Iranian nuclear threat, the Prime Minister was referring to a prophecy in Deuteronomy 33:28.
The prophecy reads, “Then Israel shall dwell in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone…happy are you O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord.”
Constantly under pressure from the nations of the world, Israel’s prime minister seems to have internalized the profound truth that more than any other nation in the world Israel must trust in the Lord for her salvation.
“I will plant them upon their soil never to be uprooted again”
Quoting from the Prophet Amos in English and then in Hebrew, Netanyahu made it clear to all who are listening that no threat, nuclear or otherwise, will remove Israel from the Land. For the Lord Himself has established His people here.
“The people of Israel have come home never to be uprooted again,” concluded Netanyahu.

recently in the United  Nations Assembly and made the world community smile.

rock and it brought forth water, he thought, "What a good

 

opportunity to have a bath!" Moses removed his clothes, put

 

them aside on the rock and entered the water. When he got out

 

and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished.

 

A Palestinian had stolen them!

 

The Palestinian  representative at the UN jumped up furiously

 

and shouted, "What are  you talking about? The Palestinians

 

weren't there then." The  Israeli representative smiled and

 

said, "And now that we have made that  clear, I will begin my speech."

 

 

 

 

 

THE GREATEST LOVE . . .

The Mountain Region, situated in the Great Himalayan Range, makes up the northern part of Nepal. It contains the highest elevations in the world including 29,029 foot high Mount Everest (Sagarmatha) on the border with China. Seven other of the world's highest mountains are in Nepal or on its border with China: Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Kanchenjunga, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu.  80% of Nepal’s 27 million people are Hindus, so the gospel of Jesus Christ is much-needed in this far-away nation.  Only 1.4% are Christians.

 

 I will never forget when Pastor Pradhan drove Primrose and I to the summit of Tiger Hill so we could see Mt. Everest and Kanchenjunga.  One of the side benefits of being a missionary to the world is being able to see first-hand the wonders of our God!  Pray for the people in this small and remote nation.  And pray that the Audio Bibles will be mightily used by the Holy Spirit---especially among those who cannot read. The Kali Gandaki Gorge is 19,685 feet deep.  Located in Nepal, it is the deepest gorge on earth!

Brother Joshua has spent most of his life ministering in the Far East, especially among tribal groups that have been neglected.  Some of these places are so remote that they are very difficult to reach.  Joshua and I share the same vison of “going to the hard places.”  But a strange thing took place in Joshua’s life just a few months ago.  God spoke very clearly to him and told him,  “Go to Kenya, Africa.”

 

  One of the things I admire so much about the South Korean Christians is their eager willingness to obey the Lord, even if their natural mind tells them something else.

And so he went . . .

While he was in a very remote part of Kenya he met an old man who had been doing missionary work there for many, many years.  Joshua did not know this, but the man was becoming so feeble that he was about to retire . . . and had been praying about turning his life-time work over to SOMEONE.  Of course, he wanted to give it to a very faithful man.

Shortly after meeting Brother Joshua the Lord spoke clearly to him:  “This is the man!”

So when Joshua returned to the United States and was giving us the report about his trip he was able to tell us that God had not only done some wonderful miracles in Kenya as he had preached the gospel . . . he had also given him 70-acres  fully furnished with buildings!   Pray that this teaching center will be mightily used by God.

God took me to Kenya two different times.  Space will not permit me to tell all the wonderful miracles that took place over there.  But I will mention one special gathering in the remote village of Chuka.  Normally, we hold the big crusade in the afternoon, and then a smaller meeting at night.

But the “smaller meeting” turned out to be huge.  We could not figure it out, because the people normally are afraid to come out at night for fear of violence.  Finally, we got to the heart of the matter.  A 12-year-old girl, deaf and dumb from birth had been in the afternoon meeting.  Even though I had not prayed for her . . . as I taught and preached God’s powerful Word . . . she was instantly healed.  And . . . although she had never heard her native language before, she immediately began speaking fluent Swahili.  Only God can do this!

                    If you know anything about Africa . . . word got out fast.

                                                  And Jesus was glorified!

Martha and Asher (my daughter and grandson) recently spent two weeks in India at the Ankoor Children’s home.  They led a team there to help in the orphanage and get some exposure to another nation.  By God’s grace they all returned home safely, but there was one very, very close call when Martha was almost trampled by an angry cow. 

 

  

This is not the real picture of Martha and the cow.  She was running so fast that she was not able to take the picture, so I substituted this one.  We thank God that she escaped unscathed!

 

After Martha returned to Tacoma she sent me this picture of Diksha, a six-year-old girl at the orphanage.  Our family immediately “adopted” her for the coming year.  You, too, can “adopt” a child at the Ankoor Children’s Home.

Peter and Linda Sims have been married for 30 years.  They are an amazing couple.  Peter is the oldest bull rider in the United States.  The Sims have adopted eight children from various countries and raised them here in the United States.

 

 A few weeks ago Linda met a total stranger in her store in West Virginia.  It was easy for her to see that the woman was very ill.  As she spoke with her she discovered that unless someone gave her a kidney she would die. 

 

Linda offered to pray for her . . . but then did something way beyond “pray.”  As she laid hands on Karen the Lord spoke to her and said, “GIVE HER ONE OF YOUR KIDNEYS!”

 

Without hesitating, knowing that she had

type “O” blood, Linda told Karen, “I will give you one of my kidneys!” The rest is history: Linda and Karen are alive and well.  Oh, boy, does this make the rest of us dig spiritually?  The first thing I thought, “Would I do that if God asked me to do it?”  And what about her husband, Peter?  Would you allow your wife to give her kidney to a total stranger . . . or to anyone?

Just as this newsletter was going to print, God allowed me to witness the baptism of my youngest granddaughter, Rachel. At 6 years old, she has decided to follow Jesus, and publicly acknowledge Him as her Savior.

JEWS ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT

King David purchased The Temple Mount from a Jebusite by the name of Araunah 3,000 years ago.
No thinking person can dispute this.  It is a historical fact and a Biblical fact (2 Samuel 24:18-24).  David did not just decide to make this purchase out of the blue.  A prophet from God by the name of Gad told him to do it!

Of course, now the Arabs are attempting to throw out historical facts.  Jacob purchased the "West Bank" from Hamor 4,000  years ago (Ge. 33:19).  In Bible times the "West Bank" was called Shechem. 

You might like to know that in Hebrew "Hamor" means
"He-ass"  חֲמוֹר.  Not much has changed.  :)

In 1967, Moshe Dayan captured Jerusalem during the Six-Day war.  In order to APPEASE the Arabs, he allowed them to be in charge of The Temple Mount, where the two Jewish Temples had stood.

The Bible urges us to "PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM" (Psalm 22:6).

But we know that peace will not be realized until the PRINCE OF PEACE, the Lord Jesus Christ, returns to earth and establishes his kingdom.

These scientific facts will make some people angry---but even so---they are still FACTS!
A huge Muslim problem: Inbreeding Nikolai Sennels is a Danish psychologist who has done extensive research into a little-known problem in the Muslim world: the disastrous results of Muslim inbreeding brought about by the marriage of first-cousins. This practice, which has been prohibited in the Judeo-Christian tradition since the days of Moses, was sanctioned by Muhammad and has been going on now for 50 generations (1,400 years) in the Muslim world. This practice of inbreeding will never go away in the Muslim world, since Muhammad is the ultimate example and authority on all matters, including marriage. The massive inbreeding in Muslim culture may well have done virtually irreversible damage to the Muslim gene pool, including extensive damage to its intelligence, sanity, and health. According to Sennels, close to half of all Muslims in the world are inbred. In Pakistan , the numbers approach 70%. Even in England , more than half of Pakistani immigrants are married to their first cousins, and in Denmark the number of inbred Pakistani immigrants is around 40%. The numbers are equally devastating in other important Muslim countries: 67% in Saudi Arabia , 64% in Jordan , and Kuwait , 63% in Sudan , 60% in Iraq , and 54% in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar . According to the BBC, this Pakistani, Muslim-inspired inbreeding is thought to explain the probability that a British Pakistani family is more than 13 times as likely to have children with recessive genetic disorders. While Pakistanis are responsible for three percent of the births in the UK , they account for 33% of children with genetic birth defects. The risks of what are called autosomal recessive disorders such as cystic fibrosis and spinal muscular atrophy is 18 times higher and the risk of death due to malformations is 10 times higher. Other negative consequences of inbreeding include a 100 percent increase in the risk of still births and a 50% increase in the possibility that a child will die during labor. Lowered intellectual capacity is another devastating consequence of Muslim marriage patterns. According to Sennels, research shows that children of consanguineous marriages lose 10-16 points off their IQ and that social abilities develop much slower in inbred babies. The risk of having an IQ lower than 70, the official demarcation for being classified as "retarded," increases by an astonishing 400 percent among children of cousin marriages. (Similar effects were seen in the Pharaonic dynasties in ancient Egypt and in the British royal family, where inbreeding was the norm for a significant period of time.) In Denmark , non-Western immigrants are more than 300 percent more likely to fail the intelligence test required for entrance into the Danish army. Sennels says that "the ability to enjoy and produce knowledge and abstract thinking is simply lower in the Islamic world." He points out that the Arab world translates just 330 books every year, about 20% of what Greece alone does. In the last 1,200 years of Islam, just 100,000 books have been translated into Arabic, about what Spain does in a single year. Seven out of 10 Turks have never even read a book. Sennels points out the difficulties this creates for Muslims seeking to succeed in the West. "A lower IQ, together with a religion that denounces critical thinking, surely makes it harder for many Muslims to have success in our high-tech knowledge societies." Only nine Muslims have ever won the Nobel Prize, and five of those were for the "Peace Prize." According to Nature magazine, Muslim countries produce just 10 percent of the world average when it comes to scientific research measured by articles per million inhabitants. In Denmark , Sennels' native country, Muslim children are grossly over represented among children with special needs. One-third of the budget for Danish schools is consumed by special education, and anywhere from 51% to 70% of retarded children with physical handicaps in Copenhagen have an immigrant background. Learning ability is severely affected as well. Studies indicated that 64% of school children with Arabic parents are still illiterate after 10 years in the Danish school system. The immigrant drop-out rate in Danish high schools is twice that of the native-born. Mental illness is also a product. The closer the blood relative, the higher the risk of schizophrenic illness. The increased risk of insanity may explain why more than 40% of patients in Denmark 's biggest ward for clinically insane criminals have an immigrant background. The U.S. is not immune. According to Sennels, "One study based on 300,000 Americans shows that the majority of Muslims in the USA have a lower income, are less educated, and have worse jobs than the population as a whole." Sennels concludes: There is no doubt that the wide spread tradition of first cousin marriages among Muslims has harmed the gene pool among Muslims. Because Muslims' religious beliefs prohibit marrying non-Muslims and thus prevents them from adding fresh genetic material to their population, the genetic damage done to their gene pool since their prophet allowed first cousin marriages 1,400 years ago are most likely massive. This has produced overwhelming direct and indirect human and societal consequences. Bottom line: Islam is not simply a benign and morally equivalent alternative to the Judeo-Christian tradition. As Sennels points out, the first and biggest victims of Islam are Muslims. Simple Judeo-Christian compassion for Muslims and a common-sense desire to protect Western civilization from the ravages of Islam, dictate a vigorous opposition to the spread of this dark and dangerous religion. These stark realities must be taken into account when we establish public polices dealing with immigration from Muslim countries and the building of mosques in the U.S. Let's hope the civilized West and the North Americans wake up before a blind naivete about the reality of Islam destroys what remains of our Judeo-Christian culture and our domestic tranquility. ...."You can ignore reality, but you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring reality." -Ayn Rand

Unimaginable Horror of Nairobi Terror Attack Revealed

Soldiers taking control of what is left of Nairobi’s Westgate Mall have found that al Shabab’s terror attack was more horrifying than previously known. The Daily Mail has the appalling story:

Soldiers told of the horrific torture meted out by terrorists in the Nairobi mall massacre yesterday with claims hostages were dismembered, had their eyes gouged out and were left hanging from hooks in the ceiling.
Men were said to have been castrated and had fingers removed with pliers before being blinded and hanged.
Children were found dead in the food court fridges with knives still embedded in their bodies, it was claimed. …
The horrifying details came yesterday as the first pictures emerged from within the wreckage of the building, showing piles of bodies left strewn across the floor.

Yesterday, soldiers and doctors who were among the first people into the mall after it was reclaimed on Tuesday, spoke of the horrifying scenes inside. “You find people with hooks hanging from the roof,” said one Kenyan doctor, who asked not to be named. “They removed eyes, ears, nose. They get your hand and sharpen it like a pencil then they tell you to write your name with the blood.

“They drive knives inside a child’s body.

“Actually if you look at all the bodies, unless those ones that were escaping, fingers are cut by pliers, the noses are ripped by pliers. Here it was pain.”

A soldier, who took pictures at a bread counter and at the ArtCaffe, said he was so traumatised by what he saw he has had to seek counselling. …

The collapse happened on Monday when government troops launched a massive assault on the mall where up to 150 people are thought to have been killed.

During the firefight, hostages reportedly had their throats slashed from ear to ear and were thrown screaming from third-floor balconies as the siege came to a bloody end. Forensics teams, still sifting through the mountains of rubble, fear many more bodies are yet to be found.

Shell-shocked Kenyan troops said the inside of the Israeli-run mall resembled a “scene from a horror movie” with blood spattered everywhere and dead bodies strewn across the floor.

Reportedly, ten of the terrorists have been captured. It seems odd that subhumans like these, having perpetrated such acts, would allow themselves to be taken alive, but that evidently is the case. Death is, obviously, too kind a fate for them.

But what of root causes? The terrorists reportedly were an international group, with Islam the only common denominator.

What lessons can be learned for the future? I would suggest three. First, al Shabab should be destroyed. It would make sense for an international force to invade Somalia and hunt down all members of that group. Second, with hindsight, Kenyan authorities waited too long to take definitive action to kill the terrorists. They allowed the siege to stretch out over four days. That may have made sense on the assumption that they were dealing with a “normal” hostage situation, but in the future, terrorists should not be allowed to work their evil deeds for so long. Third, far more civilians need to be armed. The Nairobi attack was carried out, authorities say, by only around 15 terrorists. There were hundreds of innocent people in the mall at that time. Unfortunately, hardly any of them were armed. If only 100 of the shoppers had been carrying firearms, the terrorists–notwithstanding their heavier weaponry, including hand grenades–likely could have been stopped, or at least kept at bay until soldiers arrived.

Stephen Hunter wrote a book called Soft Target, in which 12 Somali Muslims launch a terrorist attack against the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. There are chilling similarities between Hunter’s fictional attack and what happened at the Westgate Mall. If Muslim terrorists are shifting their attention toward soft targets like shopping malls, as some observers suggest, we could well see similar attacks here in the U.S. Increased security, such as has been put into effect at the Mall of America, is probably appropriate, but realistically, there are so many possible soft targets that they can’t all be secured. To the extent there is any solution, it rests with armed citizens. If just one-quarter of all adult Americans regularly carried firearms, including long guns like the AR-15, a terrorist attack like the one in Nairobi would be a death trap for the terrorists.

Will that happen here? Not yet. But if an act comparable to the Westgate Mall massacre takes place on American soil, a massive arming of American citizens will be both necessary and inevitable.
