THE POWER

The Power of God:

In so many churches it is merely a history lesson. It is about what God did or did not do so many hundreds or thousands of years ago. Boring! No wonder we have lost the most precious commodity in our nation - - - the young people. We have been taught that God does not do things like he did in the Old Testament . . . or even in the New Testament. He is now a different God. He has removed himself from our daily lives and we are left as orphans . . . on our own.

A different God????????????????

Paul warned about a time when the church would slowly drift off center and would deny the very power (Holy Ghost Power!) that could make them holy, pure, and give them an exciting life . . . something to witness about, instead of a dull, dry, history lesson.

"They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. You must stay away from people like that" (2 Timothy 3:5).

How's this for fun? God does not answer prayer any more. Don't expect any miracles. In fact, don't expect anything from him. Just chug along and some day, oh yes, some day in the sweet bye and bye you will end up in heaven.

We don't believe in a God like this. We believe in the REAL GOD, THE LIVING GOD who cares about us so much that he even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Come and be a part of power from the Holy Ghost. Bring a friend.

People are having their lives changed. Religion can't change anyone. But the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit can do anything.

No limitations! Nothing is impossible for him.

How exciting is this?

Oh, yes, by the way. We actually study the Bible for about an hour and a half. Then we get on our knees and pray. If you know any church that does this, please contact me. I want to meet these kind of Christians.

The Weight of the Earth

"Who else knows the weight of the Earth?" (Is. 40:12)

There are 354 pounds of earth to the cubic foot.

The Earth contains 2,598,000,000 cubic miles.

So the weight of the Earth is:

6,768,838,943,539,200,000 TONS!

God is big, we are small.

Derecho

What in the world is a "Derecho"?

Until today I had never heard the term.

In Spanish it means "straight". Sometimes it is called a "shelf cloud".

This kind of storm is horizontal instead of vertical. It is like a huge tornado lying on its side.

The storm that just swept the South has been labeled by the National Weather Service as a "Derecho"!

Many of my friends, including myself, have recently had dreams where we saw huge tornadoes and storms.

It was a "Derecho" that just collapsed the dome of the Cowboys' stadium.

Storms like this have rolling winds up to 130 miles per hour. And can be 800 miles long and 250 miles wide. So we have entered a new phase of judgment on our nation for its sins---something very new, indeed!

Can you imagine a storm of this magnitude sweeping toward you?

"The Lord is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet" (Nahum 1:3).

History of Abortion

One night when I was in Jerusalem I walked to an overlook near the modern cinema. I went there for the purpose of listening. Several Jewish people had told me that the cries of babies past could be heard echoing from the depths of the Hinnom Valley, just south of the Old City.

It was in this valley where thousands of innocent Jewish children were sacrificed to the sexual god Molech. In Germany centuries later more than six million Jewish people were burned and tortured to death in Hitler's ovens.

I did not hear any cries that night . . . at least in the natural. But a very deep sadness came into my spirit as I meditated. What would have caused the Jewish people to murder their own children in such a heartless and cruel way? It is against the natural state of men and women to kill their offspring. Normally, every mother and father is willing to sacrifice his own life to save the life of a child.

John Milton wrote in Paradise Lost about Molech, the fiercest angelic demon-warrior in the spirit realm:

"besmeared with blood, of human sacrifice and parents' tears."

So I did some research.

The Ammonites and Phoenicians who had lived in the land before the Israelites arrived (about 1400 B.C.) worshiped a god named Molech. This "god" also went by several other names: Baal, Apis Bull, Golden Calf, and Chemosh. But they were all the same god.

Submitting to this god involved several things, all of them sexual. As a man and a woman participated in the sex act, they prayed to Molech and promised him that htey would kill the baby created from their union by "passing him through the fire". They thought this would atone for their sins.

The people loved this god because they could have as many sex partners as they desired, without the consequences and expense of raising a child. It did not even cost them anything. All they had to do was place the baby in the red-hot metal arms of Molech.

And it was all politically correct!

Are any bells going off?

Does this sound familiar?

In modern Americca we do not have anything called "passing a child through the fire." But we have the same practice.

Today it is called "abortion".

Seventy million babies have been sacrificed to this same sex godess in the United States.

God told Cain in Genesis 4:10, "Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground!"

If one man's blood cried out to God, what do you think God hears today from the blood of 70 million butchered children?

"Should we sacrifice our firstborn children to pay for our sins" (Micah 6:7)?

The blood of 70 million babies is crying out to God from the ground and back alleys where their remnants are thrown after being brutallly murdered. On some occasions dogs have pulled their remains from the dumpsters and dragged them down the street, fighting over their remains.

Unless there is national repentance, we can only look forward to judgment on a massive scale.

"Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked" (Psalm 82:3-4).

Consequences of Killing Babies

This is an excerpt from an article written by Gingie Edmonds (gingiedmonds.com). Every person in America should know about the background of this plane crash.

"Although Feldkamp is not an abortionist, he reaps profits of blood money from the tens of thousands of babies that are killed through abortions every year at the clinics he owns. His business in the abortion industry was what enabled him to afford the private plane that was carrying his family to their week-long vacation at The Yellowstone Club, a millionaires-only ski resort. The plane went down on Sunday, killing two of Feldkamp's daughters, two sons-in-law, and five grandchildren, along with the pilot and four family friends. The plane, a singe-engine turboprop flown by Bud Summerfield of Highland, crashed into the Catholic cemetery and burst into flames, only 500feet from its intended destination. All aboard were killed."

Several times God's people had warned him and his wife that killing babies was wrong. One time he was told, "Stop doing this for the sake of your children!"

Little did he know that the warning was a real word from God.

The wheels of God grind slowly, but exceedingly fine!

The Shot Heard 'Round the World

"By the rude bridge that arched the flood,

Their flag to April's breeze unfurled;

Here once the embattled farmers stood,

And fired the shot heard 'round the world."

This is a quote from the opening stanza of Ralph Waldo Emerson's "Concord Hymn" (1837). It referred to the beginning of the American Revolutionary War.

On the night of April 18, 1775, General Gage sent 700 men to seize munitions stored by the colonial militia at Concord, Massachusetts. Riders including Paul Revere alerted the countryside, and when British troops entered Lexington on the morning of April 19, they found 77 minutemen formed up on the village green. Shots were exchanged, killing several minutemen. The British moved on to Concord, where a detachment of three companies was engaged and routed at the North Bridge by a force of 500 minutemen. As the British retreated back to Boston, thousands of militiamen attacked them along the roads, inflicting great damage before timely British reinforcements prevented a total disaster. With the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the war had begun.

Emerson's poem aptly described another shot heard 'round the world.


On June 28, 1914 a shot was fired in Sarajevo that triggered World War 1. Gavrilo Princip, only nineteen years of age, murdered Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his pregnant wife. Gavrilo was a member of THE BLACK Hand.

Will the words of this poem once again echo across the world?

Muslims should ask what they can do for human race before they demand that the rest of us respect them!

Prison Inmates

There are now more than 2 million prison inmates in the United States.

More than one million are blacks.

These people do not have jobs; do not pay taxes, and do not care for their children.

Blacks constitute more than half the prison population, but are only 13% of the general population.

Illegal immigrants cause 23% of the crime in our country.

It costs the American tax payers (those of us who work for a living) approximately $40,000 per year for each inmate.

Of course, this includes color television, food, housing, work out rooms (you know, we want them to be stronger by the time they leave) and other perks such as libraries and opportunities for free schooling.

Let's see $40,000 per prisoner times 2 million = $80,000,000 per year.

In case you did not read correctly, it costs us $80 Billion Dollars per year to house and feed the 2 million inmates.

A quote from Ayn Rand's book, Atlas Shrugged: ""The inhabitants of slums were not the men who made this country."

2% of our population is committing 50% of the crimes!

Guns

Each year about 30,000 people die from hand guns.

More than half of these victims are suicides: 16,869.

More than 2 million crimes are prevented by armed citizens each year. Just think how many lives are saved!

Automobile accidents kill about 50,000 people each year.

Medical Malpractice kills about 195,000 U.S. citizens each year.

Israel's "Find"

This article just appeared in one of Israel's newspapers, Arutz Sheva.

Delek-Noble announced that Israel has discovered 1.3 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. This is enough to supply the state of Israel with decades of energy.

This discovery could very well transform Israel's economy!

Tamar is the name of the well where the discovery was made. Tamar lies about 80 miles north-northwest of the 1999-2000 Mari-B, Noa, and Nir gas discoveries 15-23 miles off Ashkelon. It is also about 40 miles southeast of Israel's maritime border with Cyprus.

Now Russia has a motivation for invading Israel!

Ezekiel wrote and prophesied, "A long time from now you will be called into action. You and your hordes will roll down on them like a storm and cover the land like a cloud. At that time evil thoughts will come to your mind, and you will think an evil thought. You will say, 'I will go up to the land to take a spoil.'"(See Ez. 38).

Of course, Lebanon is claiming that the gas is hers. According to the Arabs, nothing can ever belong to Israel---even The Land.

Israel Discovers Natural Gas!

(IsraelNN.com) The Houston-based Noble Energy company, drilling for Israel’s Delek fuel company, announced that it has discovered a huge deposit of natural gas under the Mediterranean Sea near Haifa.

Infrastructures Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer (Labor) said that the find was of “historic proportions,” and that it could change the face of Israel’s economy.

Eighty-seven billion cubic meters, or nearly 3.1 trillion cubic feet, of high-quality gas are estimated to be in three deposits in the Tamar Drilling site, which is named for Delek owner Yitzchak Teshuva’s granddaughter. Teshuva said that the find marks a “historic milestone and a great holiday for Israel,” and that he has no doubt it will “supply Israel’s energy needs for many decades to come.”
