He is also one of the pastors at Warsaw Community Church (WCC) in Warsaw, Indiana.
July 8-24 a group from WCC will be in Papua New Guinea visiting the Maleu people group.
Todd and Karen Gerst spent seventeen years living among these people, learning their language, and produced a New Testament for them.
Now, along with Denny Wilson (head pastor at WCC) and a film crew, they are returning to the Maleus to celebrate with them the delivery of the freshly-printed Maleu New Testament.

Each team member will be carrying 70 pounds of New Testaments!
The WCC missionary team plans to celebrate with the Maleus and film the dedication of these Bibles. Please pray for them as they make this monumental journey to the other side of the world.
Their destination is the remote island of New Britain. Because of the very dangerous water currents they will be flown in by helicopter.
