The experimental drug used to treat two American aid workers who have been infected with the Ebola virus has never been tested on humans before and was only identified earlier this year as part of an ongoing research program backed by the U.S. government and military. 

Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol have each received doses of the drug, known as ZMapp, aimed at boosting the immune system's efforts to fight off Ebola and is made from antibodies produced by lab animals exposed to parts of the virus

The Associated Press reported that Writebol, 59, had received two doses of the drug while being treated in Liberia. She was en route to the United States for further treatment early Tuesday. Bruce Johnson, the president of SIM USA, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based group that Writebold works for in Africa, said that she was walking with assistance and had regained their appetite. 
Johnson told the Associated Press that he was hesitant to credit the drug for Writebold's improvement, saying "Ebola is a tricky virus and one day you can be up and the next day down. One day is not indicative of the outcome, [but] we're grateful this medicine was available."

Brantly, 33, who arrived at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta for further treatment Saturday, also was said to be improving. Besides the experimental ZMapp dose he got in Liberia, Brantly also received a unit of blood from a 14-year-old boy, an Ebola survivor, who had been under his care. That seems to be aimed at giving Brantly antibodies the boy may have made to the virus.
There is no vaccine or specific treatment for Ebola. Those who have survived the virus in the past have done so on their own.

Also some information about the plane shot down over Ukraine:  The passengers fell for approximately seventy-five seconds before hitting the ground.  Those who did not die during the actual explosion probably did some very serious thinking during the minute and fifteen seconds as they fell.  One body fell through the roof of a lady's home.

Mexican officials have said they want totally open borders so that citizens of Mexico, the U.S. and Canada can freely live, work, and travel wherever they desire. Wonder how many Canadians and Americans would rush to Mexico to work and live? Mexican officials are playing the part of the hypocrite regarding immigration. They don’t practice what they preach!

Mexico and other Central American nations want the poorest of the poor, the densest of the dense, and the sickest of the sick, and the most violent of the violent to come to the U.S. to work because that solves problems that those countries won’t have to handle. Additionally, some of the gatecrashers usually send money back home so everyone wins–except Americans.

Mexico requires people who immigrate to their country to have useful skills and a pension plan from their nation of origin! They also vigorously enforce border control at their southern border! If the U.S. enforced similar laws, the Mexican officials would scream like a stuck pig! How do you say "hypocrite" in Spanish? Mexico is now making a temporary exception giving 72 hour passes for illegals, mostly small children, from nations south of Mexico.

Wonder what would happen if I were caught slipping into Mexico? Do you think they would give me a survival pack and point me toward Acapulco where I could live a bohemian life on the beach? No, I would spend years in a stinking prison, gaining my freedom only after enormous bribes to the proper officials?

It is irresponsible to suggest that a huge influx of low-skilled, under-educated, often hostile gatecrashers will not have a long term, adverse effect on America. Our nation is being changed as you sleep. Now if you don't mind that and your bleating heart demands that we open our borders to permit anyone access, then so be it. But don't whine when you can't get a job or when your taxes are double what they are now, when your kids can't be educated in an overcrowded public school (where they shouldn't be anyway), when you see signs in Spanish everywhere you look, and when workers who are supposed to serve you can’t speak English.

My critics whine that children are in danger in their native lands and many of the gatecrashers only want a better life. That may be true; however, does that mean that America must become the social welfare system for the world, as well as the world’s policeman? After all, is there not a limit to what one country can do? Moreover, while John Kerry may be uncomfortable with American “exceptionalism,” why don’t the Central American gatecrashers settle down in Mexico and save themselves all that money for smugglers and all that effort to get to the Rio Grande? They don’t stop in Mexico because it is a corrupt, second-world nation and because they believe the USA is a better destination.

Most Americans don't realize that we take in over half of the immigrants of the world! Wait a minute, what about England, Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, Russia, China, etc.?  If immigration is good for America, then it would be good for other nations, so let's spread it around so that all countries can benefit!

Pro-immigration voices will accuse me and others of wanting to pull up the ladder once we have climbed aboard the ship. Yes, all nations are nations of immigrants, but just because we have been generous in the past does not mean that we must have no restrictions in the future. After all, every ship has a limit as to the number of passengers it can carry. Pulling in one more passenger may sink the boat! My question for pro-immigration advocates: Should America permit an unlimited number of immigrants? No sane person believes in unlimited immigration!

May I suggest that authorities make a concerted effort to apprehend all illegal immigrants; jail those who are known criminals and expel all others who are "only" gatecrashers? If we picked up only one terrorist in the group, it would be worthwhile. After all, he may be the one planning to drop a bomb over your city or poison your water supply! But how could we remove them? Simply load Mexican illegal aliens in a ship off the California coast, sail to the southern Mexican Coast, and dump them for Mexican officials to deal with. Then give each of the other illegal aliens a one way ticket to the country of their origin or to one of the nations whose leaders whine about the U.S. "pulling up the ladder"!     

I suggest that we:

*Pull up the ladder. No more immigration for at least five years.

*Plug all holes in our northern and southern borders even using the military, drones, helicopters, etc.

*Assess large penalties to any employer who hires an illegal alien.

*Recognize that non-citizens do not have the rights that Americans have. Deport all who are here illegally. Fingerprint and photograph them and imprison them if they return.

*Fingerprint and photograph all visitors who come to America from Islamic nations. Fine them heavily if they overstay their visas.

*Reject multiculturalism (that all cultures and religions have equal value to everyone) as anti-American and anti-common sense. We will no longer have a guilt complex and apologize for being Americans.

It was shocking, scandalous, and stupid for Obama to be in Texas and refuse to visit the border. President Bush did a flyover after the Hurricane Katrina disaster and then-Senator Obama attacked him for callously not doing an onsite review of the damage. It was devastating to Bush. During his Colorado/Texas fund-raising trip, Obama played pool but stayed far from the border!

I don’t know if he won the pool game or not, but, for sure, he is now behind the eight ball! He’s a loser and lackey of the left and should be impeached.

In Genesis 15:18-21, God made the covenant with Abram, saying: "Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt as far as the great river the river Euphrates. The land of the Kenites, Kenizites, Kadmonites; the Hitties, Perizites, Rephaims; the Emorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites."

The southern border of Canaan is the river of Egypt, with the northern border being the River Euphrates.

One really GOOD thing Israel has going . . . the Arabs are not exactly excellent marksmen. :)  A recent Hamas rocket fired from Gaza NEVER LEFT GAZA.  Instead, it blew out the electrical power grid . . . get this . . . July 8-24 a group from WCC will be in Papua New Guinea visiting the Maleu people group.  

Todd and Karen Gerst spent seventeen years living among these people, learning their language, and produced a New Testament for them.

Now, along with Denny Wilson (head pastor at WCC) and a film crew, they are returning to the Maleus to celebrate with them the delivery of the freshly-printed Maleu New Testament.

Each team member will be carrying 70 pounds of New Testaments!  

The WCC missionary team plans to celebrate with the Maleus and film the dedication of these Bibles.  Please pray for them as they make this monumental journey to the other side of the world.


Their destination is the  remote island of  New Britain.  Because of the very dangerous water currents they will be flown in by helicopter.

SO SOME CHRISTIANS WHO DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER END UP  FEELING GUILTY BY NOT SENDING IN THEIR MONEY.

AMAZING . . . JESUS NEVER BUILT A BUILDING, TOOK AN OFFERING, OR WHINED ABOUT THE REST OF US NOT "SUPPORTING HIS ORPHANAGE"!

OH, YES . . . HE PRAYED A LOT.

I MEAN THE REAL PRAYER MEETINGS FROM THE PAST.

YOU MIGHT KNOW . . . (AND YOU MIGHT NOT).

THESE WERE THE KIND OF PRAYER MEETINGS WHERE WE GOT DOWN ON OUR KNEES AND PRAYED FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR.

KNOW ANY PRAYER MEETINGS LIKE THIS IN AMERICA?

WE STILL DO IT!

AND GUESS WHAT?

IN 50 YEARS WE HAVE NEVER HAD TO HINT OR ASK FOR MONEY . . . NEVER!

AND GOD HAS TAKEN US ALL OVER THE WORLD AND PAID FOR IT ALL . . . about 150 trips abroad.

WELL . . . THE CHOICE IS YOURS!

YOU CAN DREAM UP A "DO-GOODER" MINISTRY AND THEN SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE MAKING PEOPLE FEEL GUILTY FOR NOT SUPPORTING IT.

OR . . . YOU CAN ACTUALLY FIND OUT WHAT GOD IS DOING AND DO IT WITH HIM.

The Cocker Spaniel is off the front  porch... The Pit Bull is

in the back yard.  The American Constitution has been

replaced with Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" and

Chicago shyster, David  Axelrod, along with international

Socialist George Soros will be pulling the strings on their

beige puppet to bring us Act 2 of the New World Order.

Our side ran two candidates who couldn't even win their

own home states, and Chris Christie helped Obama over

the top with a glowing "post Sandy" tribute that elevated

the "Commander-in-Chief" to Mother Teresa status.

(Aside: with the way the polls were run, he didn't need

any help!)

People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and

the aforementioned coalition has surrendered our culture,

our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.

You will never again out-vote these people.  It will take

individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil

disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed

them to take away.  It will take Zealots, not  moderates

& shy not reach-across-the-aisle pols to right this ship

and restore our beloved country to its former status.

Those who come after us will have to risk their lives,

their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the

Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away

due to "white guilt" and   Political Correctness.

by Jon Williams (www.IAmATexan.com) As an Army Veteran who was working as a contractor attached to the 25th Infantry Division (same Division as Bergdahl) in a nearby FOB  when Bowe Bergdahl went missing, I feel the need to speak out on the situation (notice I don’t ascribe rank to him, I will address that later). A few days ago, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel took the stage at Bagram Air Field in Afghanistan and excitedly started with what he thought would be a big applause line. “We got him back!” he exclaimed. Silence. Not. Even. One. Clap. Numerous White House leaks show that Obama and his team were convinced that Americans would greet the news of a returning POW with elation; that this would be the great moment in Obama’s second term. This shows just how clueless they are about the military. Let me clue them in. You see, when Hagel took the stage, he expected joy at the announcement that one of their own was returned! However, you have to see inside a soldier’s mind to understand what was going on here. I believe I can provide a little insight. When a soldier deserts his post, when he writes that he is ashamed to be an American, when he gives the enemy secrets (and he did), he is no longer “one of us”. He is a traitor. He is not a brother-in-arms. Soldiers risk their lives for each other every day on the battlefield, there is a trust and respect they have for each other. For Bowe Bergdahl to break that trust and the Secretary of Defense to announce a hero’s welcome instead of a court-martial is a huge let-down. He isn't one of their own. He is one of them. He is the enemy. That's not something to celebrate. The message the White House is sending is that they value treason more than honorable service. Read that last sentence again. Let it sink in. THIS is what every soldier is thinking. In a soldier’s mind serving with honor means finishing your tour, even if you disagree with the way things are done. All bets are off if you serve with dishonor. I do not refer to Bergdahl as a sergeant, even though he received “automatic” promotions while in the Taliban’s custody because according to law, after 30 days his rank and pay should have been stripped from him. Due to political pressure, his was not. In fact, he probably has over $200,000 in cash waiting in his bank account. In my opinion, this money should be given to the families of the soldiers who died in the aftermath of his desertion. Bowe Bergdahl deserted his post. He served with dishonor. I know that firsthand. Our soldiers know that. They know they risk their lives every day. They don't get a hero’s welcome from the White House, they get fewer meals (due to budget constraints) and less safety equipment (due to the drawdown). Let me be perfectly clear. A Rose Garden Ceremony, a “hero’s welcome”, and automatic promotions to a person that deserted is nothing more than a slap in the face to every service member who has served honorably. That, Mr. President and Mr. Hagel, is why soldiers aren’t clapping and applauding for you. That is why you have lost any remaining respect from the military community.   When I was growing up, my uncle would tell us stories and such.  One of his stories was about a Kingdom that was having a lot of crime so the King said, "Whoever came up with a solution that works will be greatly rewarded."  Many tried but their solutions did not work until this Old Man said he had the solution.  He asked to tear down all the jails and prisons.  Then he had one jail for one person built.  Right away they had someone who committed a crime.  The Old Man said:  "Put him in jail."  Very soon another committed a crime and the officers came to ask the Old Man what to do with him to which the Old Man answered:  "Kill the first one and put this one in jail!"  That ended the crime in the Kingdom.  This email reminded me of that story.  Maybe this would be the answer to terrorism in the skies!   It's hard to beat Israeli technology! Greetings in Jesus’ Name!

A call came “out of the blue” from an 83-year-old woman a few months ago.  I mentioned this in last month’s newsletter, but I want to give you an update on this story.

She has 35 women sewing dresses for the little girls in Haiti.  When she called me she asked if we could use the dresses for our ministry in Jeremie, Haiti.  Of course I said a resounding “YES”!  

So . . . within a few weeks she brought about 700 dresses to my home.

So there I was with all these dresses piled up in my living room.  At first I was a little overwhelmed, but then I was reminded by a friend that this was “God’s business” and not mine.  He told me, “Just talk to Jesus about it and see what happens.”

Believe it or not . . . within a few days all the dresses were on their way to Haiti.  Two different groups, (one from North Dakota and one from New York) actually came to my home and picked up all the dresses.  I found out from the manager of a clothing store that each dress was worth approximately $25.00.

So . . . out of the blue Jesus provided about $17,000.00 worth of brand new dresses for the little girls at our mission in Jeremie.  We can’t wait to see the pictures of the Haitian children wearing them!

Well . . . these are exciting times!  And God is doing amazing things.  There is so much to learn about Him, His Word, and the ways He works.  Someone said, “Find out what God is doing, and then try to stay out of His way.”

So often church folks attempt to do it backwards.  They get a “do-gooder idea” that is going to cost a lot of money.  Then, because they don’t have the money for the project, they do all kinds of things to raise the money for something God never told them to do in the first place.

The carnal man will not pray.  The carnal man cannot hear the voice of God.  And he knows nothing about flowing in the Holy Spirit of God.  And the carnal man does very little serious Bible study.  

So much in American Christianity is done without God being involved in it at all.

Our heart’s cry during these last days should be, “Here I am, Lord.  I’m available to you. Please let me hear your voice and I will obey.”

Martha Hoffman, the 83-year-old woman, prayed this way.  The result?  Seven hundred dresses will soon be arriving at our mission in Jeremie, Haiti!  God is awesome and He is just like his name, Jehovah Jireh, THE PROVIDER.

These are the days when we can LEARN, LEARN, and LEARN! 

It seems that the Holy Spirit is revealing things in these last days like never before.  I recently discovered that the first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) in Hebrew had different names from what we have in English.

And this is thrilling!  Here are the Hebrew names and their meanings:

Beresheet: “In the beginning.”

Shemot: “These are the names.”

Vayikra: “The Lord called out”

Bamidbar: “In the wilderness”

Devarim: “These are the words”

Put it all together and here is what you have:  “In the beginning these are the names the Lord called out in the wilderness, and this is what He said!”

Another amazing bit of TRUTH:  
Nahshon is a man who is mentioned nine times in the Bible.  According to the Jewish Midrash (stories by Jewish Rabbis), this man, Nahshon, was the first man who walked into the Red Sea before it split. And, according to Jewish tradition, he was neck-deep before the waters parted!  Of course, it is just “tradition”, but he got his name in the Bible nine times for some reason!  And . . . he was appointed "Captain of the children of Judah" (Numbers 2:3) for some reason. Yes, he was a great an of faith.

One more:  Our vast galaxy is spinning at the incredible speed of 490,000 miles per hour.  But, even at this breakneck speed our galaxy still needs 200 million years to make one rotation!  And there are more than 200 billion galaxies similar to ours in the universe.

“He counts the stars and calls them all by name” (Psalm 147:4).  “Seek Him who makes the stars” (Amos 5:8).

My prayer for you this month is that as you seek this Mighty God of ours (The Star Maker) He will show you great and mighty things.  May He reward you for your gift to Full Life Crusade by giving you special blessings.  Thank you so much for your generosity and helping us take the gospel to the nations.
