Greetings in Jesus’ Name!

A call came “out of the blue” from an 83-year-old woman a few months ago.  I mentioned this in last month’s newsletter, but I want to give you an update on this story.

She has 35 women sewing dresses for the little girls in Haiti.  When she called me she asked if we could use the dresses for our ministry in Jeremie, Haiti.  Of course I said a resounding “YES”!  

So . . . within a few weeks she brought about 700 dresses to my home.

So there I was with all these dresses piled up in my living room.  At first I was a little overwhelmed, but then I was reminded by a friend that this was “God’s business” and not mine.  He told me, “Just talk to Jesus about it and see what happens.”

Believe it or not . . . within a few days all the dresses were on their way to Haiti.  Two different groups, (one from North Dakota and one from New York) actually came to my home and picked up all the dresses.  I found out from the manager of a clothing store that each dress was worth approximately $25.00.

So . . . out of the blue Jesus provided about $17,000.00 worth of brand new dresses for the little girls at our mission in Jeremie.  We can’t wait to see the pictures of the Haitian children wearing them!

Well . . . these are exciting times!  And God is doing amazing things.  There is so much to learn about Him, His Word, and the ways He works.  Someone said, “Find out what God is doing, and then try to stay out of His way.”

So often church folks attempt to do it backwards.  They get a “do-gooder idea” that is going to cost a lot of money.  Then, because they don’t have the money for the project, they do all kinds of things to raise the money for something God never told them to do in the first place.

The carnal man will not pray.  The carnal man cannot hear the voice of God.  And he knows nothing about flowing in the Holy Spirit of God.  And the carnal man does very little serious Bible study.  

So much in American Christianity is done without God being involved in it at all.

Our heart’s cry during these last days should be, “Here I am, Lord.  I’m available to you. Please let me hear your voice and I will obey.”

Martha Hoffman, the 83-year-old woman, prayed this way.  The result?  Seven hundred dresses will soon be arriving at our mission in Jeremie, Haiti!  God is awesome and He is just like his name, Jehovah Jireh, THE PROVIDER.

These are the days when we can LEARN, LEARN, and LEARN! 

It seems that the Holy Spirit is revealing things in these last days like never before.  I recently discovered that the first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) in Hebrew had different names from what we have in English.

And this is thrilling!  Here are the Hebrew names and their meanings:

Beresheet: “In the beginning.”

Shemot: “These are the names.”

Vayikra: “The Lord called out”

Bamidbar: “In the wilderness”

Devarim: “These are the words”

Put it all together and here is what you have:  “In the beginning these are the names the Lord called out in the wilderness, and this is what He said!”

Another amazing bit of TRUTH:  
Nahshon is a man who is mentioned nine times in the Bible.  According to the Jewish Midrash (stories by Jewish Rabbis), this man, Nahshon, was the first man who walked into the Red Sea before it split. And, according to Jewish tradition, he was neck-deep before the waters parted!  Of course, it is just “tradition”, but he got his name in the Bible nine times for some reason!  And . . . he was appointed "Captain of the children of Judah" (Numbers 2:3) for some reason. Yes, he was a great an of faith.

One more:  Our vast galaxy is spinning at the incredible speed of 490,000 miles per hour.  But, even at this breakneck speed our galaxy still needs 200 million years to make one rotation!  And there are more than 200 billion galaxies similar to ours in the universe.

“He counts the stars and calls them all by name” (Psalm 147:4).  “Seek Him who makes the stars” (Amos 5:8).

My prayer for you this month is that as you seek this Mighty God of ours (The Star Maker) He will show you great and mighty things.  May He reward you for your gift to Full Life Crusade by giving you special blessings.  Thank you so much for your generosity and helping us take the gospel to the nations.

Strange days:

WHAT IS THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?

No one can argue the fact that organized religion in modern America lacks power!

When I was a 26-year old High School teacher I was baptized with the Holy Spirit. It was back in the 1960's. I did not even know what had happened to me, because back then the United States was just entering a mighty move of God.

Thousands of young people like myself were being called by God to take the wonderful good news about Jesus to the nations.

After some very serious study of the Bible I discovered that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is what made the early church so powerful . . . and so much unlike the modern church today.

For the next 50 years God took me to 45 nations of the world: 60 trips to China, 45 trips to Haiti, 35 trips to The Philippine Islands, 15 trips to Israel, etc., etc.  I found myself walking through jungles in Africa, Nepal, and Central America.

In total, the Lord's journeys took me out of the country 150 times, plus crisscrossing the United States countless times.

We never begged for money . . . and still don't.

And yet, somehow, the finances were always there for every travel need and every personal need as Primrose and I raised five daughters and sent them all to college.

Looking back it almost seems like a dream.

But it is a good dream . . . a wonderful dream!

LIMITLESS GOD

When God is not limited by man's foolish doctrines and ideas . . . He is awesome!

Greetings in Jesus’ name!

Four years ago I almost died in Haiti. Our family 

and I had gone there to bring some relief to the 

suffering victims a few days after the huge 

earthquake that took the lives of 300,000 people.  The night 

before we were scheduled to return to the United States I was rushed to the over-crowded hospital where dozens and dozens of people were lying on the floor waiting for treatment.  I was placed on the floor, too, in a hallway.  With a fever of 105.7 I was in and out of consciousness.  Really . . . I barely knew what was happening.

Somehow . . . by the grace of God, the help of my 

precious daughter, volunteer American doctors, the U.S. military, and most of all the prayers of those who love me around the world, my life was spared.  I spent one night in the Haitian hospital.  The next day a military helicopter air-lifted me to  the USNS Comfort hospital ship anchored in the bay of Port-au-Prince.  I spent five days there . . . in and out of consciousness.  Then the U.S. Air Force flew me to Tampa, Florida.  After a total of five days in the Tampa hospital I had had enough.  I checked myself out of the hospital with the warning from the doctors that I could die at any moment.

They did not have to tell me that!  I felt weaker 

than I have ever felt in my entire life.  And after 

all of the tests, poking, blood draws, x-rays, etc., etc. the medical folks could not find out what was wrong with me, or what they could do to bring me back to health.

When I finally arrived at my home in Indiana I 

was so weak that I could barely walk.  But I knew that if I did not try . . . really try . . . my life would slowly come to an end.  And I wanted to go out with a “bang”, not a whimper.

So I started walking.

The first few weeks I was only able to walk the 

length of my small yard, and back to my house. But . . . little by little I got stronger.  I could feel my strength returning.  This gave me great hope.

But the emotional impact inside of me cannot possibly be put into words.  For almost all of my adult life I have traveled the world preaching the gospel:  sixty trips to China, forty-five trips to Haiti, thirty trips to the Philippines.  I also tramped through jungles in India, Nepal, and Africa.

For all of this to be shut down in a moment of time was overwhelming.  I felt so worthless!  I wanted to keep preaching the gospel and experiencing the mighty move of the Holy Spirit.  It was my life.  It was my love.  People often ask me what my “hobby” is.  Each time I have to answer, “I just want to teach the Bible to hungry people.”

But all this was over.  Yes, it made a huge 

emotional impact in my life.  But there were still two things that I could do.  I was able to pray and study the Bible!

One of my main prayers was, “God, please heal 

me.  Please give me my strength back.”

There was also a lot of introspection.  How could I have been a better person?  If God heals me will I use the years I have left to obey His voice?   Have my motives been pure?  How can I improve?

In my entire life I never spent so much time in 

God’s Word and in prayer.  As I look back, I 

know it was good for me, but it was not especially something I enjoyed.

God is so merciful!

I discovered in a new way that my family loves 

me.  Friends love me.  The body of Christ world-

wide loves me.  And these truths got down deep 

inside my emotions.  The outpouring of love from 

so many people caused me to cry, really cry, from 

deep within.  It was a time of wonderful inner cleansing that purged me to my deepest core.

And I discovered, in a new way, that God loves 

me in spite of all of my imperfections.  This is a great joy!

Months went by, and slowly, very slowly, my 

strength began to return.  Of course, I still do not 

feel like I did when I was 20 years-old and ran a 4 

minute 28 second mile.  But I am able to walk two 

miles each day and do a light work-out on a 

machine.  I call this my “prayer-walk”.

During this forty-minute walk God speaks 

wonderful things into my life. 

One of the things He showed me was that my life 

was not over, and that I still had the strength to teach God’s Word.  And . . . it was during this time that He opened up the most far-reaching ministry of my entire life . . . through the internet.

Today our website and writings on my blog are 

reaching 80 nations and more than 250,000 

people!  And my children and grandchildren are 

going places with the gospel of Jesus Christ where 

Primrose and I have never gone.  This brings me 

great, great pleasure.

Someone said, “When the people you have 

trained outrun you, then you have done a good 

job!”

By His grace I have lived to see this day.

So why am I writing a letter such as this?  If, for some reason you are down in the dumps.  Never give up.  Through consistent Bible study and prayer all things are possible.  I just met an 83-year-old woman who is accomplishing more now than ever in her life.  She has 35 women sewing beautiful dresses for the people in Haiti, and our teams are taking them there.

God is opening up great things in these last days!

Find out what He is doing, and then do it with 

Him, and . . . then try to stay out of his way!

Anyone with a brain knew that OHH (Obama, Hillary, and Holder) were lying about Benghazi!

And Carey's body language really gives him away. He consistently lies and it is easy to tell that he is under a great deal of stress.

But the real reason he is so uncomfortable is because he is attempting to sound credible and still please his "HANDLERS"!  Difficult job, Carey!

They could not pay me enough money to do what he does.  Talk about pressure!  (By the way he makes a mere $270,000 per year.)  :)

That's only about five grand a week!  Who would work for such a pittance?

Now OHH's pants are so on fire that even the suck-ups to the administration are ready to turn on the White House administration, not because they love America, or have any morals, but because they want to keep their big-paying jobs and all the perks that come with them.

The cat is out of the bag about Benghazi, but the much larger story is even more important.

Now the real questions are:
Who are the "HANDLERS".
Who decided to put Obama in the White House?
Who picked him?
Who decided that a homosexual needed to have a "wife and kids" in order to get elected and be acceptable to the American people?
Whose money paid to hide O's history?  He is the only president  . . . ever, whose past is a secret.
And who figured out that a black man would be perfect for the job because he could never be put out of office . . . Holder and Obama can always play the race card . . . and in America, that always works.
Any sin is acceptable today: child molestation, homosexuality, adultery, murder, lying.  The list goes on and on.
But accusing a black President of ANYTHING is the biggest sin of all.  It is racism!
 . . . even if the President consistently lies to the American people!
Folks . . . it is not about race . . . it is about the fact that he does not have character.  He is a sham . . . whether he is black, white, or blue is not the issue.
The person who finds out who Obama's handlers are, and makes it public, will not only become an instant millionaire, but he/she will go down in history as the best investigative reporter on the planet.  Obama did not "just emerge out of the blue" and become the President of the United States of America!
This was planned by a group of big money people for the express purpose of destroying our nation.

And the word in the street is that Mrs. O will divorce O as soon as his term ends.  What other couple takes separate vacations?
